The Mission Advancement Committee monitors and evaluates the work and ministry of the WKW Mission Advancement Team, which includes development work, as well as all forms of communication and promotion of the ministry. It works with the national executive director to build stronger relationships with donors, establish relationships with new supporters, and identify grant opportunities.

The Lay Ministry Services Committee monitors and evaluates the WKW Lay Ministry Services Team, which includes administrators of Builders For Christ, Christian Volunteer Corps, and Faith In Action. It evaluates the ministry, continually comparing to the objectives of the ministry plan. It also evaluates WELS Missions’ project requests and recommends priorities for annual selection of national projects.

The Chapter Advisory Committee monitors and evaluates chapter ministry through direct communication with WKW chapters. It maintains guidelines and recommendations for chapter projects, consistent with WKW mission and ministry. It sets goals and objectives for creation and maintenance of chapter ministries within a ministry plan. It reviews chapter constitutions and proposes changes as necessary. It also monitors and evaluates relationships, interaction, and communication between WKW national staff and chapters.
