Spring 2017 :: Bill Meier, President CEO

Luke 10:2-3 says, “Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field. Go! I am sending you out like lambs among wolves.”

Three Kingdom Workers volunteers serve as an answer to this prayer in Chile, where only 14% of the population belong to a protestant Christian church. Jenny, Elise & Jon joyfully serve as teachers and evangelists. They help the Holy Spirit move hearts by teaching in classrooms, networking in town, and serving with their Chilean brothers and sisters in their congregation, United by the Faith Lutheran Church.

Their professions of faith in the public schools and among the friends they make in town are inspirational. The best witness opportunities are made by strong personal relationships, and God has blessed them through the welcoming nature of the congregation. Jon says, “When I first arrived in Chile, I was excited to connect the people I would meet with Jesus. What I didn’t expect were all the opportunities God would give me to do so! He has placed so many people in my life who have questions about the Bible. The Holy Spirit is at work constantly and uses things as small as red hair, skateboards and lunch to open doors to meaningful conversations.”

Together, these saints are all working in Chile sharing the Gospel. Please join in asking the Lord to send out more workers, and then let’s work together to support every person who serves in answer to that prayer!
