Contact Kingdom Workers for more information.

Q: When should I book my flight?
A: You don’t need to worry about that! Kingdom Workers will make all flight reservations to ensure the best travel route and arrival time for that location. Kingdom Workers can’t reserve airline tickets until the program fee has been submitted.

Q: How much is the program fee?
A: All volunteers serving outside of their home country are asked to pay a $200 non-refundable program fee.
FULL-TIME STUDENTS pay a reduced Program Fee of $50.

Q: Why is there a program fee?
A: As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, there are real costs associated with running mission programs and providing volunteer support and management. Program fees paid by a volunteer help cover some of the costs associated with developing opportunities to serve and mobilizing volunteers around the globe. Without covering these costs, Kingdom Workers would not be able to continue the mission programs that are sharing the Gospel and serving needs. (Program fees are non-refundable.)

Q: When do I pay the program fee?
A: A payment deadline will be provided based on the date of your initial application. Payment is required to secure your spot on a Kingdom Workers project. The easiest way is through your personal gifting site that will be set up through Kingdom Workers. You can also submit the payment by check to the Kingdom Workers office.

If Kingdom Workers does not receive the program fee by the given deadline and no prior arrangements have been made with the Kingdom Workers office, the volunteer’s spot on that team will be forfeited. The program fee is non-refundable, but volunteers may choose to apply the program fee to a different international mission trip served later that year.

Q: How do I raise support for my trip?
A: Kingdom Workers will help you set up an online gifting site and will provide support raising tools and tips.
Support Raising is a great way to spread awareness about the Kingdom Workers project to your friends, family, and community. Many volunteers have raised the majority of their project expenses this way!

Q: When is the full payment due?
A: Full payment is due no later than 30 days prior to the beginning of the volunteer’s mission project placement unless a prior arrangement has been approved by Kingdom Workers. No alternate payment plan will allow for payment after the start of the project. Failure to make this payment can result in a loss of volunteer placement with no refund of donations.

Q: What happens if I don’t reach my fundraising goal before the deadline?
A: If Kingdom Workers does not receive full payment by the given deadline and no prior arrangements have been made with the Kingdom Workers office, the volunteer’s spot on that team will be forfeited, and all arrangements will be cancelled. Volunteers are given the option of serving on a different Kingdom Workers trip within 12 months and will be allowed to apply the funds to that specific mission project. If no future arrangements are made, the contributions will be allocated to support the original mission program.

*All contributions made to Kingdom Workers are tax-deductible and non-refundable.

Q: How will I prepare for my trip?
A: Kingdom Workers facilitates volunteer orientation meetings to help volunteers prepare for the mission trip. This might be scheduled individually or through team web conferences. Some projects or locations might require multiple pre-trip orientation sessions to go through comprehensive preparation.

Q: Is there a way to get security updates?
A: Yes! We will ask each volunteer to sign up for STEP. The Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) is a free service to allow U.S. citizens and nationals traveling abroad to enroll their trip with the nearest U.S. Embassy or Consulate.
