1 Africa—Malawi: Manager
Stefan Felgenhauer is serving as volunteer project manager. He is moving his family to Malawi July 2012.
2 Africa–Zambia: Manager
Dave & Dee Mathiak have assisted mission guests, oversee finances, and teach English as a Second Language classes since 2008. Now they will also serve as volunteer project managers.
3 Africa–Zambia: Teachers
Volunteers are needed to teach English to the families of African Seminary students.
4 Asia: English
Lay workers teach English in Southeast Asia.
5 Asia-Hong Kong
Volunteers serve as English tutors, help with speech and test preparation, as well as English Club.
6 Asia: Library
Carmen Tomfohrde and Kristin Lehman oversee the mission’s library and learning center and support the training of Chinese-speaking missionaries.
7 Builders For Christ
Men and women can assist in building worship facilities. Anyone who can carry a 2 x 4 or use a paint brush, as well as professional carpenters and electricians, is needed.
8 Colombia: Teachers
Volunteers are needed to teach English in the Colombian schools.
9 Evangelism Mentoring Teams
Trained volunteers assist ministries with their outreach program by mentoring their members.
10 Faith In Action Outreach Teams
People of all ages can participate in a mission team from a week to a few months to assist congregations throughout the United States with their outreach programs.
11 India
Four teams of two to three volunteers are needed to teach English and basic computer skills and work in orphanages.
12 Mexico-Leon: Manager
Volunteer manages other volunteers who come to Mexico to assist with outreach.
13 Mexico-Leon: Teachers
Volunteers offer English as a Second Language classes to people of Mexico.
14 Michigan-Detroit
Andrea Schmidt serves as outreach coordinator at Cristo Palabra de Vida in Detroit, MI.
15 Michigan-Lansing
Doug Tabor reaches out to international students at Michigan State University and Lansing Community College with English classes.
16 New York-Woodside
A volunteer assists the pastors of Sure Foundation Lutheran Church in their outreach efforts by offering English classes to an immigrant community of New York City.
17 Tomsk-Russia
Teams of two volunteers are needed to carry out friendship evangelism by teaching English classes.
18 Tennessee-Morristown
Volunteers assist the exploratory mission congregation of Living Promise Lutheran Church by reaching out to the community.
19 Texas-Edna
Volunteer Laura Banda reaches out by offering up to six English as a Second Language classes and Spanish classes each week through Redeemer Lutheran Church.
20 Thailand
Liz Meister and Katie Lehmann reach out through English, teaching how to manage a small business that helps support local churches.
