discover where your gift is needed

Your gift provides the children on the Apache reservation a safe space to grow and cultivate a relationship with Jesus.

Children who agreed with the statement, "I get in trouble at school," dropped to just 29% (down from 43%) after participation in the garden program in the 2017 growing season.

Through planting, nurturing, and growing vegetables and fruit, the youth garden program on the Apache reservation allows children and families to see Christ's parables about farming illustrated through gardening. God's word is heard directly through weekly devotions, and children pray for each other.

Youth gardening addresses real physical and social needs on a remote reservation where the nearest large grocery store is a 45-minute drive away, 50% of the population is under the age of twenty-four, and most families are affected by diabetes, unemployment, and substance abuse.
