Giving Tuesday 2017

Dive into the Kingdom Workers ministry in Malawi with field manager Dan Tyrrell and several of the local leaders we've partnered with to reach the families of people with disabilities.

In less than 2 minutes, you can give a gift that will impact the spiritual and physical needs of children like these.

THANK YOU FOR ALL OF THE #GIVINGTUESDAY Gifts!

Much more than Physical Therapy

Malawian Lutheran Volunteers visit the children in the Home Based Care program every two weeks or so. Between visits, parents work with the child on certain skills and exercises. Each child has a unique situation and progress looks different.

“I can see that God is still fighting for me”

•••

“I go everywhere they are doing Worship at the Cross. Even if I am working, I would stop and go with them and pray with them together.

My faith has increased because I did not expect that my son could progress this much. So I can see that God is still fighting for me, because of the suggestions that the volunteers gave me at the church, that you should do this or that.

I give thanks to God and to the volunteer that helped me because he is the one who suggested that I should be in this school and its God who put us together."

Giving Tuesday

If one of you says to them, “Go in peace; keep warm and well fed,” but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it?  In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead.
James 2: 16-17
