Serve with kingdom workers in Japan
Bring the joy of the Gospel to the people of Japan!
Japan is a country where 1% of the people know their Savior. There is work to be done! How can we reach the 99%? English classes can serve as an open window to bring people into a church where they can learn English and meet their Savior.
Kingdom Workers :: Japan is spreading the gospel message by working in member-ministry with Grace Lutheran Evangelical Christian Church and Atonement Lutheran Church through Bible-focused activities for youth and English classes for all ages. Kingdom Workers full-time worker will serve as a ministry assistant to these Lutheran churches in Higashikurume (a suburb of Tokyo) and Mito.
Why do we need volunteers? Japanese neighbors do not feel comfortable stepping through the doors of a Christian church. Kingdom Workers volunteers give neighbors a reason to go to church by offering English classes and community development.
KW Mission Worker, Dave, is assisting the Lutheran churches by reaching out to young people of the community through sports, English as a Foreign language, and other community activities.
Grace Lutheran and Atonement Lutheran are part of the Lutheran Evangelical Christian Church (LECC) - In fellowship with the Confessional Evangelical Lutheran Conference of which the WELS and ELS are members.
