Aganai (Atonement) Lutheran Church in Higashi Kurume (near Tokyo) is looking for more ways to reach their neighbors with the gospel. They would like to host an English class at their church, led by a native English speaker, via a video-call service such as Skype.
GOAL: English as a Second Language (ESL) classes offer the chance for people to get to know each other in a non-threatening setting. Church members will be able to invite others along to class and witness their faith in this environment.
Participants will also be invited to join in a Bible class led by the local pastor in connection with the ESL classes.
When: Early Morning Central Time, USA
Number of Teachers Needed: 3-4 volunteers
Once weekly, at 9:00 p.m. Tokyo time (day of the week TBD), you will digitally meet with a group to lead them in English learning exercises and a simple English-language devotion. (Note: this is early morning in the USA)
