Mission Statement

Kingdom Workers spreads the Gospel by mobilizing Christians to create locally sustainable ministries addressing spiritual and physical needs in communities around the world. 

Mission/Purpose

Kingdom Workers mission is to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with all people:  by working with individual members, ministries, congregations, and church bodies in doctrinal fellowship with the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod; in cooperation and collaboration with the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod mission divisions, by heightening awareness among individual members and congregations regarding mission and outreach ministry needs and opportunities, by coordinating lay efforts and volunteer efforts in mission fields, and by promoting and providing support for ministry projects in which Kingdom Workers is a partner.

Vision

In 2017 the name Kingdom Workers is synonymous with gospel-motivated global action. The community of people and organizations proud to be included under this moniker comprises donors, supporters, current and past volunteers, foundation representatives,*Confessional Evangelical Lutheran Conference (CELC) leaders – all of diverse ages, nationalities, backgrounds, experience, and gifts. Coming to Kingdom Workers due to its history of impactful, well-planned, and efficient mission programs, this team of people and organizations retains a closeness – enjoying the fellowship, spiritual growth, and change God has worked within their personal lives. As a result, Kingdom Workers is the leading organization for connecting people, ideas, and resources to mission fields and churches with expressed spiritual and physical needs. All this is done to the glory of God, compelled by the Great Commission.
*CELC membership includes Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod & Evangelical Lutheran Synod.
