We live in a busy world! We are hurrying to get things done and forgetting about the appointment we made last week. There never seem to be enough hours in a day.

You have just committed to be a part of a mission project to go out and share the gospel. Now you have one more thing to add to your to-do list…fundraise. The Kingdom Workers Fundraising Toolkit is here for you to use throughout the fundraising process. It will take a little bit of work, but this toolkit is designed to help make that process easier. At Kingdom Workers we use the term “Peer2Peer fundraising” to express how volunteers fundraise. This means we are asking you to go to your family and friends and fundraise on behalf of Kingdom Workers for your mission project. The idea is that you will tell your friends, your friends will tell their friends, their friends will tell their friends, and so on until you’ve reached your fundraising goal!

Feel free to make the wording your own. Everything here is a template, and some personalizing of information is necessary. Fundraising is a blessing in many ways:

  1. 1)    It gives people, who are not able to give of their own time, an opportunity to be a part of mission work.
  2. 2)    People with a heart for giving are privileged to partner with an individual serving in a mission field.
  3. 3)    The Bible is full of examples of God’s people serving him while being generously supported by others:
  4. “After this, Jesus traveled about from one town and village to another, proclaiming the good news of the kingdom of God. The Twelve were with him, and also some women who had been cured of evil spirits and diseases: Mary (called Magdalene) from whom seven demons had come out; Joanna the wife of Chuza, the manager of Herod’s household; Susanna; and many others. These women were helping to support them out of their own means.” Luke 8:1-3

Now may the God of peace, who through the blood of the eternal covenant brought back from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great Shepherd of the sheep,EQUIP YOU WITH EVERYTHING GOOD FOR DOING HIS WILL, AND MAY HE WORK IN US WHAT IS PLEASING TO HIM, THROUGH JESUS CHRIST, TO WHOM BE GLORY FOR EVER AND EVER. Amen.
