Joyce Beglinger has been with Kingdom Workers since 2002. Originally the coordinator for the Mission Information Center, she later became involved with volunteer coordination for the Faith In Action ministry. In 2011, she began working full time as a volunteer coordinator, primarily for volunteers serving in the United States and Canada. Recently, her position has expanded to include coordinating volunteers serving internationally and those that serve through Builders For Christ. Joyce’s position also includes managing team requests and maintaining data entry.
Joyce has seen a tremendous change within Kingdom Workers since her start in 2002. The overall mission of Kingdom Workers remains the same, however, its internal structure and process has developed immensely. Joyce is currently seeking to achieve her certification in volunteer management.
Joyce values the ministry partners, volunteers and staff that she works with daily. “It truly is a blessing to work in an environment where everyone supports and respects each other’s abilities. We are all working together to reach the same goal.”
“We all know that you do not need to travel far to do outreach. It’s right outside your front door; so we enjoy making an effort to be connected and involved in our local community in which we live”. Joyce and her husband of 32 years enjoy being involved in their church’s contemporary choir and Joyce is currently the president of the women’s ministry, Ladies REJOICE. They have two adult daughters and one son-in-law. They both enjoy entertaining family and friends, visiting craft wineries, and they hope to get back into their boating lifestyle on Lake Michigan soon.
