Neil Hankwitz has worked at Kingdom Workers for 25 years. He began in the Communications services area of Kingdom Workers and now serves as a volunteer coordinator on the Volunteer Management Team.
“It is amazing to see how Kingdom Workers has transformed from an agency that mainly provided funding for WELS and ELS mission projects to a destination where men and women of all ages from throughout the Confessional Evangelical Lutheran Conference (CELC…of which WELS is a member) have opportunity to become actively involved is sharing God’s Word throughout the world,” says Neil. “We have truly undergone a transformation over the last four years, and we look forward to what the Lord has in store for us in the years to come.”
Neil has volunteered to do evangelism outreach in New York City and St. Lucia. He is also the director of two church choirs, secretary on the board of Salty Earth Pictures, and has served as a youth group leader.
Neil, and his wife, Tracy, live in Burlington, WI, and have four children: Ryan (26), Christiana (24), Jameson (22), and Sawyer (19). The family grew a bit larger when Ryan married Rachel in April, 2015 and gave birth to a son, Wesley in 2017.
Neil and Tracy have also hosted international high school students, two from South Korea and one from China.
