Bill Meier is married to Cathy. They have three daughters: Elise, Audrey, and Maria, who were all born and baptized in Malawi.
Bill served six years in the US Navy before attending Wisconsin Lutheran College where he received a degree in Chemistry. After university, Bill served as a Kingdom Worker mission assistant in Zambia, Malawi, and Cameroon. Then, after marrying Cathy, they lived in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where Bill worked in a power generation plant. In 2001 Bill accepted a call to serve rural congregations with the Means of Grace in the Zomba Region of Malawi. Bill was then called to serve in an outreach ministry based in Nampula, Mozambique in 2007. In 2009 the call to Mozambique was terminated as the Mozambique mission was defunded.
Since November 2010 Bill has served as the Executive Director of Kingdom Workers. Kingdom Worker’s mission is to reach as many souls with the Gospel as time allows, by engaging the Royal Priesthood actively in mission work.
