Mick Scheuer is originally from a very small, and very beautiful village named Mishicot in Northeast Wisconsin. His family immigrated to Mishicot nearly 170 years ago. Mick was lucky enough to have been blessed with two older brothers , both of whom took a big role in his development, as well as parents that taught him the value of Faith, Family, and a strong work ethic. Mick was blessed to have attended East Twin Lutheran Grade School and Manitowoc Lutheran High School. During high school, Mick was first exposed to international travel in the form of a German exchange program. This changed his life’s trajectory as it eventually led to extensive international travel and mission work. He studied vocal performance and moved to Milwaukee where he attended Wisconsin Lutheran College. Mick graduated from the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay with a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, and learned to speak German. He has long-term goals of earning his MBA and learning more languages.
Mick has been involved in many ministries throughout his career, including Thoughts of Faith, Jesus Cares Ministries, and as a Kingdom Workers volunteer in Malawi, Africa. After his work in the field, Mick worked in a variety of industries including financial management, winery marketing, and managed a four state sales territory for a nutritional supplement manufacturer. Mick currently serves as the Development Director for Kingdom Workers.
Mick has a long list of interests and hobbies, but some of his favorites include getting into nature in all sorts of ways (hunting, hiking, etc.), and singing Jazz standards almost nonstop (not always well). Among many others, his other interests include business, reading, smiling WAY more than is necessary, and loving his God, his family and his friends.
Mick has lived a “charmed life” all because of the Grace of his savior, and he’s glad to have the chance to serve others with the gifts given to him.
