The Chilean Family Grows

Since my arrival in Chile, it has been amazing to watch the Lord work so rapidly.  New vicars, new members, and a new steeple on the way...all new things and all great things seem to be coming our way!

On October 31, our entire Chilean synod celebrated a joint conference in Santiago at which Missionary Tim Erickson ordained two new vicars, Victor Henriquez and Mario Gálvez.  That brings the total of Chilean pastors to four, along with Missionary Erickson and Vicar Guil...

It’s been done all over the planet. English as a Second Language classes open doors for community outreach, providing an innovative free-market twist to 21st century evangelism. Asia in particular has had success with this work.

What do you and I have in common?

We are both people. We may have the same favorite color, maybe we both like the same TV programs, and we are definitely both breathing. However, one thing you may not know we have in common with the people in our lives is what Spanish speakers call confianza. This is a very important outreach tool in Chile and other parts of Latin America.
